Angie here, and I’m interrupting your regularly scheduled Waterbody content with some news.
Waterbody is for sale!
This is a sticky, emotion-filled decision I’ve thought (and thought, and over-thought) through for nearly a year and a half now. While it feels bittersweet, I’ve felt it in my gut for some time that I am ready to move on to something new and different, and my dream is for someone with fresh energy, spirit, and passion to come in and pick up the torch to drive Waterbody onward and upward.

I am SO proud of this brand and business that I’ve built up over the last 8+ years. Waterbody celebrates Alaska’s wild places, and I’d love to see the business stay rooted here in our beautiful state.
In addition to an income, this business has given me the flexibility to live a lifestyle that works best for me - creating my own schedule, unlimited time off (perk of being your own boss 😉), opportunities to flex my creative and analytical brain muscles, and the chance to build amazing relationships with customers and fellow small biz owners.
I’ve developed product formulas and manufacturing systems that are well-documented and repeatable (spreadsheet nerd here), as well as standard operating procedures for nearly all processes related to the business. We have amazing repeat customers and relationships with some of the best independent shops and retailers across the US. And, there is so much more room to grow!
This is a turn-key, ready to rock operation for the right special someone with an entrepreneurial spirit. If you love Alaska’s wild places, making things with your hands, flexing your creative marketing muscles, and having people at the grocery store and post office constantly compliment you on how great you smell, this could be the small biz for you!
