Shipping
Orders are shipped via USPS, within 3-7 days of order placement.
Each order is packed by hand, by the Waterbody team, at our workshop in Wrangell, Alaska. We make every effort to get your order on its way to you as safely, quickly, and efficiently as possible. But please note, we are decidedly not Amazon (: You won't find 2-day shipping here, as shipping from Alaska can take a few days longer than what you might be used to. We may be biased, but we think our handmade, Alaskan infused products are pretty special and well worth the wait of an extra few days to arrive.
Sometimes, damage happens to products during shipping. Please let us know as soon as you receive your order if damage to your product has occurred and we will make every effort to remedy the situation.
While we do our very best to get your items to you as quickly as possible, we are unable to guarantee delivery times.
Once your order is shipped we have no control over the length of time it takes to reach you. Estimated delivery times are generated by the USPS upon checkout and are not guaranteed by Waterbody.
Refund Policy
Due to the hygienic nature of our products, we cannot accept returns. We may offer replacement or refund for damaged or defective product.
Please let us know if you experience an issue with your purchase and we will make every effort to resolve the issue. To be eligible for refund or replacement, please notify us of damage within 15 days of product purchase. If your product arrives damaged, please retain item in its original packaging until we are able to assist you. We will ask for verification of the product via product name and batch code on the container. We may request that you send photographs of the damage, or send the product back to us at no additional cost before receiving a refund or replacement.
Returns (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or replacement. If approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@akwaterbody.com for further instructions.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Product FAQ
What is the shelf life of your products?
All of our products are handmade with the highest quality ingredients, and zero artificial preservatives. While we do utilize a few ingredients that naturally extend shelf life, our products are made in small batches and meant to be used regularly. Shelf life varies with each product, but we encourage you to use most items within 6 months to a year. Store your natural body care goods away from sunlight and in a cool, dry location for best results.
Do you test on animals?
Waterbody never tests products on animals - only on ourselves and willing volunteers, friends and family!
Are your products vegan?
With the exception of beeswax in some of our salves & butters, all ingredients are plant & mineral based. No animal products are used in the making of our goods. For those ingredients which we cannot harvest ourselves, we source from certified organic and fair trade suppliers whenever possible. Organic certified ingredients are noted within each product description.
Are your products sustainable?
Sustainability is one of our core values. We strive to source packaging that puts the least possible stress on our environment, and encourage you to re-purpose and recycle your empty WB containers! We reuse nearly all of the shipping materials that pass through our workshop, keeping our waste stream as minimal as possible.
